• Survey on Perceptions on Palestinian Judiciary Unveiled: USAID’s Rule of Law Program helped the Palestinian Judiciary carry out the first comprehensive survey of public perceptions of the justice sector. The survey, which was conducted by an independent polling firm, was released in a public event attended by the Chief Justice. It provides an assessment of the activities and effectiveness of the Palestinian judiciary and will help the Supreme Judicial Council improve performance and overall development of the judiciary.
  

EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

• Solutions Identified to Improve Transportation of Goods through Crossings: Trade Facilitation Project’s transportation and trailer expert met with Hebron area companies identified as potential “Known Traders” to better understand the types of goods and shipments that pass through the Tarqumia crossing. The expert will also meet with Israeli and other Palestinian companies to discuss manufacturing of open or platform containers and similar solutions for various types of loads passing through crossings to improve trade and business.
