Resources for Organizations

PARTNER WITH US

  • New to working with USAID? Check out a few of our grant opportunities that are designed for smaller and newly created organizations and community groups here. These are just a few examples of grant opportunities, for a complete listing be sure to visit www.grants.gov.

  • Get to know our Missions as USAID has a presence and works in over 80 countries. It is important to establish relationships with the USAID mission in the countries where you work and check with them as to what their needs are as well as what funding they might have that could be available to your group. Click here to see a list of countries in which USAID has a Mission office.

COLLABORATE

  • Not ready to partner directly with USAID but interested in collaborating with others NGOs in your field? Many groups find it beneficial to partner with other NGO's, including groups registered with USAID as Private Voluntary Organizations (PVO's). Frequently, NGOS that directly received USAID grants seek partnerships with other organizations to fulfill their goals. These groups might also be a valuable resource in obtaining additional information regarding the funding process. Visit our registry of organizations working with USAID and consider working together with NGOs in your field to tackle development challenges.

  • The United States has the largest number of international migrants of any country in the world. Virtually all Americans have immigrant roots; natural ambassadors by their identities, the diplomatic and developmental potential of U.S. diasporas remains largely untapped. Be sure to read through the USAID Diaspora Toolkit for additional information on working together.

  • Is your community or organization working on U.S. focused projects? Be sure to check out the White House "Partnerships for Common Good" Toolkit. You will find resource information for each of our 12 sister centers and ways to partner together.
