USAID sponsored the first anniversary symposium to review advances
and challenges in abandoning the practice of female genital mutilation/cutting (“Translating Zero Tolerance into Zero Cutting”)
at the National Press Club Ballroom in Washington, D.C., on February 6, 2004.
