- Gender-Based Violence and HIV: A Program Guide for Integrating Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response in PEPFAR Programs [PDF, 908KB]
This guide serves as a tool for program managers to better integrate gender-based violence (GBV) within their programs, by providing basic guidelines and referencing key resources and materials that already exist. Ideally, this guide will also catalyze dialogue, action, and resource mobilization, building on PEPFAR programs and platforms for addressing GBV with national governments, implementing partners, and other key stakeholders. The guide was produced under the leadership of the PEPFAR Gender Technical Working Group, with input from a wide range of experts, including other relevant PEPFAR Technical Working Groups.

This report describes USAID's strategic approaches, interventions, and achievements in health that were reported during 2009.
- Fourth Annual Report to Congress: A Whole-of-Government Approach to Child Welfare and Protection – December 2010 [PDF, 1.7MB]
The report was submitted to Congress in accordance with Public Law 109-95, the Assistance to Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children in Developing Countries Act of 2005. PL 109-95 was signed into law five years ago to respond to the global orphans and vulnerable children’s crisis. It calls for the U.S. Government response to the crisis to be comprehensive, coordinated and effective.

This brochure reviews the success that has come from the partnership between USAID and PEPFAR in the fight against HIV/AIDS as well as USAID's multidisciplinary approach to fighting HIV/AIDS.
