14th International Conference on AIDS - July 7-12, 2002
Barcelona, Spain

The U.S. Agency for International Development is proud to be a sponsor of the 14th International AIDS Conference in Barcelona, Spain, from July 7 - 12, 2002. The theme of the conference is "Knowledge and Commitment for Action." The theme was selected to reinforce the need that all involved sectors at all levels, including scientists, the community, people working in the field, and the public and private sectors, work together to review the knowledge gained through science and experience, and use this knowledge to commit to action. This action must be focused across all aspects of HIV/AIDS and include all infected and affected groups. Visit the conference Web site at www.aids2002.com to register, to learn about the conference's key messages, or to get additional details. Webcasts of the conference activities are available at www.kaisernetwork.org, the free news summary and webcasting service of the Kaiser Family Foundation.
