In 1990, only 19% of school-age girls in Guinea were in
primary school. Today more than 67% of them go to school. Overall,
enrollment in primary school in Guinea has risen from 28% in 1990
to 84% in 2005.
As of the 2004 elections, there were 22 women representing
19% of Guinea's 114 seat Parliament.
