On May 23, Ed Reinauer, Chief of Party for OTI's implementing partner Creative Associates, and Marija Raseta Vukosavljevic, the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications for the Government of Serbia signed grant number BG 2052, during an informal ceremony held at the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications office in Belgrade. The grant represents USAID/OTI's 500th grant since October 1, 2000 and its 153rd as part of the Pace of Reforms Campaign, which was launched at the beginning of 2002. The $9,690 grant supports an intensive three-week public information campaign on new telecommunications legislation due for debate before the Serbian Parliament in June.
