General Employment Information
The Office of Civilian Response seeks to hire talented, motivated individuals with an interest in assisting in US Government reconstruction and stabilization efforts abroad.
General qualifications for OCR and CRC-A personnel include:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Advanced degree in international or development field, economics or management, or equivalent experience
- Experience in and knowledge of developing countries
- Demonstrated analytic, speaking and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to interact with counterparts on both the lowest and highest political, social and economic levels
- Familiarity with international development community, including USAID and/or contracting partners
- Foreign language desirable
