Civilian Response Corps

Civilian Response Corps – Standby Component

Members are full-time employees of USAID who have specialized subject matter expertise useful in reconstruction and stabilization (R&S) operations, and have committed and secured permission from their bureau, office, or field mission to be available in the event of an R&S mission, have been pre-screened and trained, and have committed to be available within 30 days. CRC-S members will attend R&S orientation training in the first year and additional training in following years. They provide critical reinforcement and follow-up for the Active component, as well as pertinent development skills and expertise. CRC-S deployments will be 90 days on average.

Current USAID employees who are interested in being included on the roster for CRC-S are asked to submit an expression of interest form to Alicia Elba Williams at aliwilliams@usaid.gov .

CRC-S members are encouraged to pursue the training opportunities described below.
