The United States and the International Aid Transparency Initiative Standards

The United States welcomes the efforts of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) to develop information standards and congratulates IATI signatories on the agreement reached on February 9, 2011 on these standards. The U. S. is strongly committed to transparency of aid information. To this end the United States has worked closely with IATI members on the Technical Advisory Group to create a standard to which the U.S. can cross-walk its information, where consistent with U.S. law and policy.
