JOB SUMMARY: This position is with the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations, Headquarters Liaison & Coordination Division. The incumbent will be responsible for the effective management and implementation of the case management information system, hotline operations, and the worldwide budgetary responsibilities of the Office of Investigations.

Major Duties:
The incumbent will be responsible for the effective management and implementation of the case management information system, hotline operations and the worldwide budgetary responsibilities of IG/I. Other duties are as follows:
Monitors the case management system for necessary developments and modifications, incorporating the agent time management system to facilitate the overall system performance, evaluating the case management system for effectiveness and efficiency and for proposing system changes and policy and procedural changes to the system as required.
Analyzes and evaluates effectiveness and efficiency of overall IG/I programs and operations, and prepares summaries of findings that are incorporated into reports to the various Federal agencies.
Monitors and evaluates hotline operations.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this position that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related. All applicants must meet the minimum requirements of the Office of Personnel Management's Qualification Standards Handbook.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, this experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower grade level in Federal Service.
You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
You must submit to a drug test and receive a negative drug test before you can be appointed into this position.
In order to qualify for this position, you must possess a Secret security clearance.
How You Will Be Evaluated:
You will be evaluated to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications required; and on the extent to which your application documents that you possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) associated with this position as defined below. When describing your KSAs , please be sure to give examples and explain how often you used these skills, the complexity of the knowledge you possessed, the level of the people you interacted with, the sensitivity of the issues you handled, etc.
1. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing and improving complex management processes and systems.
2. Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions.
3. Experience and skill in drafting, editing, and coordinating correspondence and materials and experience in written communication in areas such as briefings, reports, and presentations and preparation of policies and procedures.
4. Ability to use computer tools and analytical techniques, including databases, spreadsheets to organize, analyze, and present data.
5. Knowledge of hotline operations and/or investigative complaints processing.

Current performance appraisal dated within the last 18 months, if currently employed in the Federal Government.
SF 50 (Notification of Personnel Action) showing competitive status, if applicable.
Documentation showing proof of eligibility as a surplus or displaced employee.
