World Wild Fund Launches Forest Law Website

In October 2005, USAID’s FOREST II project, in cooperation with WWF Moscow office, launched a website dedicated to the development of Russia’s new Forest Code (http://www.ForestLaw.ru). The website, designed specifically to inform Russian citizens and interest groups about forest legislation, contains the latest draft of the Forest Code as well as an interactive advocacy commentary (“chat”) from forest experts and Russian NGOs.
