USAID Mission to Armenia: Ten Years of Progress
"One of the nice things about this job is that I get out of the office constantly and visit projects throughout the country. That's our reward, to see the people who are benefiting from our activities." Keith Simmons is Mission Director for USAID/Armenia. His favorite part of the job is to see people smiling, to feel their energy for life and to sense hope for the future. USAID/Armenia is proud of the progress visible in Armenia and joins it in the spirit of building a prosperous, democratic and healthy nation.
This film celebrates the 10-year anniversary of USAID/Armenia and marks its accomplishments with narratives from individuals who have experienced USAID's efforts first-hand. From the young athlete in Gyumri to the grandmother in Yerevan, they share their stories of adversity and triumph. Along with Keith Simmons and the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, John Ordway, USAID employees recount the challenges and pride of their achievements. USAID: Ten Years of Progress illustrates the impact of USAID and its projects.
