USAID and the Changing Face of Development

The M/CIO/KM Knowledge Services Center is pleased to announce the USAID 2008 Summer Seminar Series.

The Summer Seminar Series, titled USAID and the Changing Face of Development, provides a venue for discussing and exploring a variety of development topics pertaining to USAID's business. Seminar participants are exposed to innovative approaches and diverse experiences in the Agency's day-to-day operations and initiatives, through 2-hour seminars which include presentations and panel discussions.

• Tuesday, July 29- Foreign Assistance Reform: Challenges, Accomplishments and Lessons Learned
• Tuesday, August 5- Perspectives on the Crisis in Food Security
• Thursday, August 14- The Global Development Commons: Development 2.0 - Connect. Collaborate. Prosper.
• Tuesday, August 19- Much Ado About Diaspora: Exploring the Development Potential of Remittances and Other Diaspora Engagements
