USAID Employee Survey 2004

Methodology - How "Margin Favorable" is defined.

Margin Favorable is:

  • Positive 100 when all Agree
  • Zero when all are Neutral
  • Zero when the number of Agree responses are the same as the number of Disagree responses
  • Negative 100 when all Disagree

It is similar to the margin in an election, when you say that the candidate "won by a margin of 15."
