Vendor Outreach Sessions
The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is happy to provide Vendor Outreach Sessions. We offer a session that is specific to small businesses in the Information Technology field and a separate session for businesses in all other fields. We also offer webinar sessions for businesses that are interested in the USAID Mentor Protégé Program.
The IT Vendor Outreach and Small Business Vendor Outreach Sessions were developed to allow small businesses access to procurement information from the bureau and office representatives. Small businesses attending the sessions are provided with handout materials that include detailed information on doing business with USAID, listings of Agency prime contractors and subcontractors, teaming on Agency projects and brief descriptions of current projects. They also receive instructions on reviewing and responding to solicitations.
Keynote speakers are on hand at the IT Vendor Outreach Sessions; and discuss some best practices for marketing Federal agencies and their company.
USAID staff assists OSDBU at the Small Business Vendor Outreach Sessions (non-IT). Topics; i.e., climate control, contract support, economic growth-agricultural-trade, environment, food security, democracy-conflict prevention, global health, and humanitarian assistance are discussed.
OSDBU requests that you review the USAID website to understand how your company can partner with the Agency or its components to meet their specific mission.
Registration for the December 6 Webinar is now closed. An additional webinar will be scheduled early in 2012.

This session will provide an opportunity for small businesses to meet with one of the Agency's prime contractors currently providing emergency non-food humanities assistance in international crises and disasters.
