MAJOR USAID DATABASES
Global Education Database (GED)
GED contains international education statistics compiled from the UNESCO Institute of Statistics and from USAID's Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS). DHS is a USAID program that conducts full-scale household surveys in developing countries. There are 145 UNESCO indicators and 62 DHS indicators. The public may access GED through USAID's website at http://ged.eads.usaidallnet.gov/.
LAC Databook
This database is a component of the ESDB. It contains socio-economic data on countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region. The public can access this database through USAID's website at http://lac.eads.usaidallnet.gov/.
Trade Capacity Building Database
This database provides access to the full set of survey data gathered by USAID from annual surveys of programs and activities that promote trade-related capacity building in development countries and transition economies. The public can access this database through the USAID website at http://tcb.eads.usaidallnet.gov/.
U.S. Overseas Loans and Grants: Obligations and Loan Authorizations
This database is available at http://gbk.eads.usaidallnet.gov/. The database contains historical loan and grant data compiled by USAID from U.S. governmental agencies. Data from this database are used to produce the annual "USAID Congressional Presentation" and the publication, "U.S. Overseas Loans and Grants”
